Sorry little mouse

My cat brought in this mouse. I thought it would be okay. it was shaking weird and not moving .

I did see a bite wound on its head 😟. I wasn't sure if it was scared or injured. I brought it outside and laid it down in the grass in the woods. It was still shaking poor thing. I went and checked 2 hours later.. still there .... I kinda knew it wouldn't make it 😭😭 a night passed. Went to work , thought about the mouse all day. Went home. Around 7.30 pm. I had to check on the mouse. I went back... Sure enough it had died 😭😔 Rip little mouse. Sorry about my cat . I know it's just a mouse. I will show the picture I took.
